This Easter season, from 3rd until 9th April, we will celebrate Easter in true style – with the very best of feasting and fine wines heralded from our very own estate in Tuscany.
Head Chef Fulvio Opalio has created a menu befitting of the new season, welcoming in the Spring. Taking pride of place on the table will come Carrè d’agnello in crosta di senape con melanzane affumicate, peperonata primaverile: Rack of lamb for two, with smoked aubergine cream and spring pepper stew. And then for something sweet, Fulvio’s take on the traditional Easter Colomba cake, a deconstructed pudding with candied orange, vanilla sponge and almond ice cream.
Our sommeliers, will be on hand to guide you through their extensive and specialist Italian list of wines that reflect our farm to table ethos, whether that’s Petruna in anfora to pair with the lamb, or a Vin Santo to match with pudding.
An Easter celebration wouldn’t be complete without chocolate, and this year our chefs created hand-made chocolate eggs to decorate Il Borro and then there’s the Easter special cocktail of rum, Mozart dark chocolate liquor and egg yolk.
